Collection: Sesa
Sesa - Japanese Inspired Footwear
Founded in the Marche region of Italy in 1976, Sesa Footwear has a rich history of crafting genuine leather shoes with traditional techniques. In the 1970s and 1980s, Sesa produced handsewn moccasins and penny loafers for major American corporations. Despite the shift of many companies to Asian production in the 1990s, Sesa remained committed to artisanal craftsmanship. In 2019, Marco Perticari, the second-generation owner, collaborated with Masahiro Wakabayashi of TO&CO to create the Sesa Heritage collection. This line of leather loafers revisits classic Japanese-inspired footwear from the 1980s and explores archival Sesa models alongside timeless standards.
